Client Attendant Trainee        $719.50 - 739.00 semi-monthly
This is entry level work in the care and treatment/habilitation of developmentally disabled individuals. After successful completion of a six-month probationary period, the trainee is automatically considered for promotion to Developmental Assistant I with a salary of $739 semi-monthly and more responsible, independent work.  This position requires graduation from high school or completion of a GED.

Food Service Helper I   $719.50 - $739.00 semi-monthly

This is routine food service work in a kitchen or dining room. Employee in this class is responsible for performing routine duties involved in preparing and serving food and performing related cleaning duties. The employee follows a standard procedure and work is performed under close supervision.

Habilitation Specialist       $1097 - $1136.50 semi-monthly
This is technical and professional work in implementing and monitoring habilitation programs for developmentally disabled individuals.  This position requires a Bachelors degree with specialization (24 semester hours) in elementary or secondary education, special education, early childhood education, psychology, social work, sociology, counseling, recreation, speech-language pathology or ideology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing or other specialties in the human services field.

Licensed Practical Nurse I/II   $1151.50 - $1192.50 semi-monthly

This practical nursing work in the care and treatment of patients or residents in a state hospital, institution, or health care facility.  Employee is responsible for performing a variety of practical nursing duties under the close direction of a registered professional nurse. In the more complex nursing care areas, the employee serves as an assistant to a registered professional nurse or higher level licensed practical nurse. Work is reviewed through reports, ward inspections, and observations; however, the employee is expected to perform the more routine duties without detailed instructions.

Registered Nurse II   $1440.50 - $1497.00 semi-monthly

This is responsible professional nursing responsible for performing a variety of nursing functions for the physically or mentally ill or disabled or for the mentally retarded/developmentally disabled. The employee is responsible for conducting or assisting in the development of nursing assessments and nursing plans and providing direct nursing care as outlined in the nursing plans. Work may include supervision over paraprofessional nursing staff and may include assisting or supervising less experienced professional nursing staff. Work at this level may be distinguished from that of a Registered Nurse I by the level of professional skill and competence achieved and the variety of duties which may be assigned. The employee works independently in carrying out the care and treatment program indicated for each patient/client according to instructions and established nursing standards and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisors through nursing note review, observations and effectiveness of nursing procedures.

Registered Nurse IV   $1781.50 - $1854.50 semi-monthly

This is advanced professional and supervisory, educational or specialized nursing work.  Employee is responsible for coordinating, directing, evaluating and participating in the nursing care of physically or mentally ill or disabled patients or mentally retarded/developmentally disabled clients; or for work of comparable responsibility involving the application of advanced and specialized nursing skills in the performance of duties. Employees in this class normally are responsible for all nursing services in a moderate-sized multi-ward unit or program or serves as the facility-wide nursing supervisor on an assigned shift, depending on the size of the facility and the diversity of nursing services provided. An employee may also function in a specialized clinical, educational or administrative capacity in areas such as psychiatric nursing, nursing staff development, quality assurance, utilization review, employee health, infection control, oncology, endoscopy, etc. Supervision is usually exercised over subordinate professional and paraprofessional nursing staff.
