Advancing Suicide Prevention in Missouri

The Department of Mental Health and Lincoln University hosted a two-day conference during Suicide Prevention Week 2007 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel and on the campus of Lincoln University in Jefferson City. During the "Advancing Suicide Prevention in Missouri" conference on September 10 and 11, 2007, the topic of suicide prevention was presented in many facets, from the risk taking behaviors of youth to law enforcement crisis intervention training, as well as legislative aspects of suicide prevention and establishing support groups.
