PERSONNEL OFFICER II
The Higginsville Habilitation Center, in Higginsville, Missouri, has an opening for Personnel Officer II. This position will be responsible for the implementation of the total personnel program. The primary duties of this position are recruitment, selection, placement and discipline of the work force and the conduct of an effective program of employee relations, within the structure of the state Merit System law, and the rules and regulations of the Missouri Personnel Division. This position provides consultation to the Superintendent on personnel issues, advises department managers of rules and regulations regarding FMLA, ADA and worker’s compensation, and investigates employee complaints and grievances. The successful candidate must meet Missouri State Merit System minimum specifications for the Personnel Officer II classification (see specification listed here http://www.oa.mo.gov/pers/ClassSpecs/0402.htm). The salary range for this position is $40,500.00-$59,820.00 annually.

LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION UNIT
The Department of Mental Health Licensure and Certification Unit has an opening for the Eastern Region Director. The position is classified as a Mental Health Manager 2 and is located in St. Louis. This management position provides daily operational responsibility for the staff and workload for the eastern region of the state for Department of Mental Health licensure and for the Division of Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities Medicaid Waiver certification processes. It includes assignment of surveys; monitoring of workload; review of work products; collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders; participation with peers for planning, implementation and evaluation of procedures and processes; and supervision of four survey staff and one clerical support staff. Psychiatrist
Full-time Psychiatrist needed to serve as one of two attending physicians for Metropolitan St. Louis Psychiatric Center (MPC), a 25-bed acute adult inpatient service. MPC is an 87-bed facility operated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health with a 24/7/365 psychiatric emergency room treating the seriously mentally ill. Practice in an environment that encourages high quality psychiatric treatment. Although mindful of managed care, MPC is not driven by managed care. Our goal is to achieve meaningful client stabilization.

Medical Director (Clinical Director II)
St. Louis Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center has an opening for a Board certified psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for the facility. The facility is CMS Certified and TJC accredited. St. Louis Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center is a 196 bed facility operated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health which provides psychiatric treatment and rehabilitation to forensic and long term severely and chronically mentally ill adults utilizing a specialized programmatic structure. This is a full time administrative position which serves as an integral part of the hospital’s executive management team. The position is responsible for oversight of the medical staff. We offer a competitive salary and generous benefit package including up to 4 weeks per year of vacation and sick leave can be earned based on length of employment. Educational leave is available. MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Metropolitan St. Louis Psychiatric Center, a DMH facility of its Division of Comprehensive Psychiatric Services Eastern Region, is seeking a Medical Director. MPC is an adult facility serving people with acute psychiatric and substance abuse problems. MPC’s mission is to care for people with acute psychiatric and substance abuse problems, research causes and treatments, and to teach individuals, families and the community.
The Medical Director will serve in a lead role as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment setting dedicated to quality service. The Medical Director must have strong administrative skills, an interest in public psychiatry, and research. Teaching experience is a major asset. A clinical faculty appointment with Washington University is a plus.
Minimum qualifications include an M.D. or D.O. with residency completion in psychiatry, board eligible or board certified, and a license to practice in Missouri. Competitive salary and excellent benefits in a challenging and progressive environment completes this package.
