The Family Foster Care Licensing file contains the current licensure status of individuals who provide care for children under state custody. The file includes licensure information on current providers as well as those waiting approval of a license.

The Family Support Division licenses foster homes, group homes and relative homes for children who have been removed from their natural parental custody due to abuse or neglect.

Individuals that desire in-home services for a child, senior or person with disability may request a screening through the Family Support Division Foster Care Licensing file by completing the Caregiver Background Screening form. On average, information from Family Foster Care Licensing records takes five working days to process from the date of receipt of the request.
