The Missouri Drivers License Bureau establishes drivingrecords of individuals who hold driver's and nondriver's licenses or permits. The Bureau also maintains information in driving records if a person is convicted of a violation in Missouri or any other state.

The driving record contains personal information about a driver, license issuance information, driving status information and the driving history of an individual including suspensions/revocations, convictions (points) and reinstatements.

You may request a copy of a driving record by writing to:
The Department of Revenue, Drivers License Bureau
P.O. Box 200
Jefferson City, MO 65105-0200.

The request must include:

  1. The name (first, middle initial and last), date of birth, and driver's license number or social security number of the record you are requesting;
  2. The mailing address of where the driving record should be sent; and
  3. A cashier's check or money order for $1.25, payable to the Missouri Drivers License Bureau.

For additional information, please contact the Drivers License Bureau at (573) 751-4300 or visit the Drivers License Bureau website.
