Community RN Program

Health and Safety Home | Community RN Survey -September 2009

The links below contain information for Community Registered Nurses (RNs) who work for Division of DD provider agencies. The information provides details regarding Division expectations of the community RN role, documentation of work activities and instructions on registering with the appropriate regional center.

In response to surveys conducted of providers and Community RN's we have made revisions to the Community RN Program. These changes are reflected in the Community RN Program Manual (Revised August 2006).

If you have recently become an Division of DD Community RN or are interested in becoming one, please review the information in the manual and contact the Quality Management RN in your region. Community RN orientation training is offered quarterly through each Division of DD Regional Center. Orientation training is required within 90 days of the community RN's employment. Additional training may be required by the Division periodically.
