8-07 Draft/Proposed Revisions to Division of DD Waiver Manual Sections 13, 14, & 19
The following sections of the Division of DD Waiver Manual have been revised to:
1) Incorporate additional services for self direction opportunities such as the support brokerage services; and
2) An increase in the annual cap for the Community Support Waiver. The individual annual cap has been increased from $20,000 to $22,000. In the past, each service in the Community Support Waiver also had a individual dollar cap each year such as $17,000 for personal assistant service. The individual dollar caps have been removed from all services except for specialized medical equipment and supplies (still $5,000 annually) and environmental adaptations (still $5,000 annually). All definitions for the Community Support Waiver will still have the statement that his service in conjuction with any other waiver service can not exceed $22,000 per year.
